An aphorism is an arrow of truth which penetrates the heart through your mind. An aphorism awakens your spirit while piercing your mind and heart simultaneously. And even deeper: An aphorism unites the spirit and the soul while releasing the personality’s unlimited energy, and helps meet crises which seem to be eternal and unsolvable. APHORISM-THERAPY? I am sure, that the time has come to call an aphorism a powerful psychotherapeutic force, and to declare the opportunity for an aphorism to heal. The practice of actualising psychoanalysis has repeatedly proved this. From my own experience, many times aphorisms became the keys to secret doors in the depths of the unconsciousness, which could not be opened by any other way. Without that door being opened, the personality cannot show its full completeness. During the aphorism-therapy process, actualizing psychoanalysis spreads beyond the scope of traditional psychoanalysis, and thus it becomes the androgyny-analysis (origin from two ancient Greek words: andros - a man, and gynecos - a woman). The androgyny-analysis is a process of comprehending a person’s deepest structures of personality, the psychic and spiritual elements, or the depths of masculinity and feminity. It is comprehension of those structures where such sensations as love, freedom, and loneliness are born. As it turned out, only understanding armed with an aphorism can make the penetration. I do not deny that above all it is specifically aphorism therapy which has made the androgyny-analysis a unique method of correcting issues in the man-woman relationship. An aphorism always appeals to a Person in one’s transcendental depths. Having pierced all layers of mental traumas and complexes, it awakes in a Person the ability to penetrate any traumas and complexes and to overcome any crisis. Therefore, an aphorism is the shortest way to awake a Personality’s latent capabilities.
THE SUBSTANCE OF APHORISM-THERAPY
The meaning of aphorism therapy is based on the fact that: it is possible for everyone to formulate his or her own key aphorisms, which can awaken latent capabilities, and change one’s destiny. Frequently I hear a question: how was the idea of aphorism therapy born? Here is the answer: everything that happened in our life is unexpected, but at the same time it happened legitimately. Once I advised a very famous writer from Moscow. Her coming to me resulted from a creative crisis which proved to be only a consequence of “the meaning-of-life” crisis and a sense of internal loneliness. “There is no reason to complain about life”, she said. “I am a successful writer, and my detective novels are published in huge volumes. My readers adore me, and my publishers respect me. It seems that I have everything that I need: money, praise ... But there is something missing. For the last six months I feel emptiness inside. The creative desire has evaporated, and my inspiration has disappeared. I feel very lonely...” Having comprehensively analysed her mental traumas and complexes, we came to the conclusion that in herself masculinity had suppressed her feminity. Moreover, she realized what had been the main psychological trauma from which her flight from her feminity had begun. However, this comprehension was not enough. She felt relief, but her creative crisis had not passed. She came to me again and again. For a time, I felt that we were wandering inside a labyrinth. Then, unexpectedly, I formed an aphorism, which took us into the light. Here it is: “A man differs from a woman by his ability to penetrate into the abyss. A woman differs from a man in that she carries the abyss within herself”. And the fact is that this statement was not totally unexpected. I put it on the lips of my heroine in my novel: "Year 2017: LIBERATION OF EROS». The point is that quite unexpectedly it became a decisive step for my patient beyond the bounds of the her crisis. Only after that step could she truly realise and experience the fact that unrequited love forced her to throw out the sense of love as a value. And in fact any creative process is meaningful, if it leads to love and is completed with love. Now this writer is riding a new wave of creativity, and has reached new success, specifically because she has rediscovered her feminity and found love. And since that case, I have consciously begun to apply aphorism-therapy.
HOW TO READ THIS BOOK?
This book is a collection of aphorisms, which have helped many men and women. Some of them recovered after crises, and many have restored the relationship with their loved one, having rid themselves of internal loneliness.
The majority of these aphorisms were born during the live process of the androgyny–analysis, and were created by me for specific people. I have selected only those aphorisms, which brought about a real positive effect. Why is this book called “The Mystery of Male and Female Nature?” There could be a mass of answers to this question. I shall offer one of them, which has just come to mind: the aphorism is the secret of the male and the female. Relationships, which are free from all petty and superfluous things, and which are wise and can be described as “aphoristic”are the main basis for happiness both for a man and a woman. I will allow myself to give you some advice. The best way to read this book is in a state of relaxation and in solitude, so be alone or with someone you are close to. You can read the book in sequence, but it is not essential. Look at the contents closely, and choose a part and a chapter ("penetration") which at that moment interests you most of all. When you find your own aphorism, you will feel a light excitement, and a certain spiritual delight. Read the aphorism again, and try not to understand it entirely, but try living through it. And then it will begin its healing work within the depth of your “Ego”. If your time is limited, and you have the opportunity to read it only in snippets or while travelling, just open the book at a random page. This way takes longer, but your intuition will lead you to the necessary aphorism sooner or later. If there is something with which you disagree - wonderful! Argue with the author. In fact, while doing so, you creatively deepen your outlook! This is one more way to perceive my book’s ideas. Outline your position, speak with your friends and your relatives, and you will again feel the healing effect of the aphorism therapy. And the most important thing: gear up for positive changes, and without doubt, they will come! Penetration 1. THE COSMIC NATURE OF GENDER
1 Evolution creates gender to achieve victory over loneliness. 2 Gender is the flow of time, which passes through the spirit or the soul. 3 Personality, as the unity of the spirit and the soul, is not asexual, but is above the sexual. 4 Personality descends the steps of gender from Eternity into time. But it returns to Eternity by the same steps. 5 The personality, which becomes separated from its gender, returns by evolution into its element with tripled strength.
Penetration 2. DISTINCTION BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN 1 A man differs from a woman with his ability to penetrate into the abyss. A woman differs from a man by carrying the abyss within herself. 2 A woman without a man is the present without the future, and so she is just a dream; a man without a woman is the future without the present, so he is just an illusion. Only having connected a dream with an illusion, they can find the reality. The reality opens for them not only the past, but also Eternity. 3 The female origin is a bow, and the male origin is an arrow. The bow is useless without the arrow, and the arrow is just a toy without the bow. 4 Masculinity and Feminity, in a person can open themselves on three levels: biological, psychological, and personal. On the biological level it is pressure, and subordination. On a psychological level it is an activeness, and passiveness. On a personal level it is a freedom and love. 5 Genuine masculinity always rises to freedom, and genuine feminity to love. 6 Without freedom and love a man turns to an animal, and a woman into a plant. Without freedom a man becomes a child, and a woman becomes a victim. Without love a man turns to a monster, and a woman turns into a demon. 7 A man wants to be with a woman, and a woman wants to live with a man. This is no testimony to the loftiness of man’s nature, or the baseness of a woman. “To be” and "to live" must be united mutually fulfilling each other. 8 A man is a key to opening new opportunities, a woman is a lock allowing new opportunities. 9 True masculinity means good nature multiplied by force. 10 Fury destroys the masculine nature.
Penetration 3. LOVE OF MEN AND WOMEN 1 True love is forgiveness of pride. 2 Love without freedom is flight without wings, and means it will fall. 3 A woman is happy in so far as she is loved by someone. She is even ready to give up love for freedom, but she forgets the common truth: a woman is loved by someone as much as she is free. 4 If a woman in love only wishes to accept love, and a man only wishes to conquer, then instead of love they both receive passion, which carries them away into loneliness. 5 We love a person for their myth. Creating symbols invokes interest which when pushed to the limits becomes co-suffering. Creation of myth gives birth to love, which remains as love always and everywhere.
Penetration 4. MALE AND FEMALE FREEDOM 1 Freedom is a condition, which allows a person to love and to be loved. 2 To be free – means to allow the contradiction of urgent and important affairs. 3 A woman’s freedom is: “I am with him” a man’s freedom: “I am myself”. 4 If a woman aspires to freedom without a man, then sooner or later she becomes like a man. 5 If a woman loses her striving for freedom it means the fading of a man’s love. 6 When a woman loses her freedom, she loses the man, and the man loses himself. 7 Finding freedom without a woman, locks a man within a cage of power. 8 Revenge transforms freedom into loneliness. 9 When a person strives for freedom without love, sooner or later this person loses his freedom. 10 He who reproduces himself without free will, is worthy of slavery .
Penetration 5. SPIRITUALITY AND SOULFULNESS
1 Freedom fulfils through spirituality, and love through soulfulness. Therefore, masculinity at the limit of its tension becomes spirituality, and feminity becomes soulfulness. Thus, in their unity they complete the personality. 2 In order that a man and woman are compatible, the man should treat the woman spiritually, and the women should treat the man soulfully. In order to make them happy together, he should treat her soulfully and she should treat him spiritually. 3 The soulfulness of a man has achieved no lesser feat, than a woman, who has found spirituality. 4 A spiritual but soulless man triggers alarm. A spiritual but soulless woman triggers a horror. 5 Lack of spirituality in a woman is perceived as nature’s victory, lack of spirituality in a man is perceived as the defeat of culture. 6 The absence of soulfullness in a man is generated by the lack of spirituality of in a woman. But the opposite assertion is also true: lack of spirituality in a woman is drawn towards life by the soullessness of a man. Start with yourself. 7 Soulfulness without spirituality is a bog, spirituality without soulfulness is ice. 8 Losing soulfulness we also lose humanity. Losing spirituality we also lose the desire and the ability to move beyond the limits of a person. Lack of humanity will never move beyond the bounds of the human. 9 The spiritual impulse to move beyond the bounds of human nature’s limits/the limits of human is possible only on the condition that a person is overflowing with humanity, or else it will lead to the person’s downfall. 10 The heights of spirituality always owe their roots to the depths of the soulfulness. 11 A man can appreciate the woman for her mind, but can fall in love only with her soulfulness. A man’s love arises only in the case when the woman’s soulfulness is spiritualized. 12 A woman can experience passion for a man for his strength, can appreciate his aspiration to understand her, but she can only fall in love with his spirit, breaking the boundaries of the mundane. However, love comes to a woman when this spirit ceases to break; and thus begins the creation, the spirituality of her man merges with soulfulness.
Penetration 6. SELF-SACRIFICE OF A WOMAN AND A MAN 1 To know how to live means to know how to sacrifice the less valuable things for the sake of the greater things. 2 A person’s self-sacrifice is meaningful only when it results in personal revival. 3 As a rule, women are inclined to sacrifice their own career for the sake of the man, whereas the man will often sacrifice the woman for the sake of his career. Both of these sacrifices lead to complete loneliness. 4 Nobody's happiness can be built on the sacrifice of the personality. 5 Having sacrificed her personality in the name of her child the mother sacrifices her child.
Penetration 7. MALE AND FEMALE POWER 1 Power – is the agony of a finite person in infinite time, when he is not able to recognize his Eternity. This is the agony of a person deprived of love, who needs the enslavment of a free person and the demise of a living person.
2 A man's power is the power of his will, a woman’s power is the power of her excitement. Love is possible for man and woman, when they convert their will and excitement into inspiration. 3 Power is the monster of the unconsciousness which is born from the womb of unrequited love. 4 Power – this is the psychosis of the finite in the infinite. 5 Power is the hatred of the finite for the infinite. It is generated by disbelief in one’s capability to participate in the infinite.. But this disbelief is born by the inability to go through the infinite as eternal. The reason for such inability is in the alienation of Eternity and Love at the level of conscious convictions. The unity of Eternity and Love retreats into the inaccessible depth of the unconciousness; in place of it, the unity of Eternity and Death rises to the surface, causing horror. This mode of Eternity hypnotises he, who has lost eternity in love. Eternity-as-death attracts a powerful person. Therefore any consequential power kills the surrounding people and itself, in order to become close an infantile way with unaccessible Eternity-Love. 6 Power – this is melancholy of the finite for the eternal. 7 While in power, both man and woman lose themselves. Or freedom in power becomes an illusion, and love becomes a dream. 8 Love does not deny power; it only gives it sense and pulls the sting of death out of its body. 9 When power becomes the means to achieve love, it just transforms love into dependence. When love becomes the means to achieve the power, it transforms authority into loneliness. 10 The potential in power is only a consequence of impotence in love. 11 A man rules and a woman subordinates herself to a man, this formula gives rise to a woman’s discontent which then paradoxically transfers into pleasure. A woman rules and a man subordinates himself to the woman, this formula gives rise to the woman’s pleasure which then paradoxically transfers into dissatisfaction and torture. 12 Male nature in patriarchal culture is converted into human nature. But specifically therefore, it loses humanity. 13 One of a woman’s sad privileges in the patriarchal culture is the ease with which she is recognized as being abnormal. For this it is enough to demonstrate the weakening of the mother instinct. A man has try much harder: it is not sufficient for him to imagine himself as a good-for-nothing-father. Only full destruction of his ability to control himself makes his behavior abnormal in the eyes of society. 14 By ruling power, love transforms itself into freedom.
Penetration 8. FEMINISM 1 There is feminism based on strength, and on weakness. The first leads into a new Universe of liberated men and women, the second kind generates the restriction in which the offended women play male roles. 2 The point of feminism can be only in giving birth to a new unity of man and woman. 3 If feminism becomes revanchism, its infantilism is only a matter of time. 4 Feminism, which has become revanchism is running away from oneself in a circle of loneliness. 5 Woman and men must be equal but different.

1 Sex is dependency, eros is freedom. 2 Sex - the delight of merging, eros - the delight of distance. 3 Sex - reality of nature, eros - reality of culture. 4 Sexuality is literal, erotica is symbolic. 5 Sex is excitement, eros is admiration. 6 Sex - is enjoying the unity of the body, which intensifies the spiritual and soulful loneliness. Eros is enjoying the spiritual and soulful unity, with loneliness of the body. Combined, sex and eros elevate the body, mind and soul above loneliness. 7 Sex is rhythm, eros is melody. 8 True sexuality is always magical, genuine erotica is mystical. 9 The absence of two things distinguishes pornography from erotica: love and freedom. A person, who has not experienced love and does not know freedom, will see pornography in any connection of man and woman. 10 Tantric culture, in Western conditions, on the whole, is transformed into a yearning to dissolve erotica in sex. Exercises for strengthening the muscles of the perineum, vagina, etc., prolonging the sexual act, replace the personal interaction of partners, which dissolves in the duration of the sexual act. 11 If Tantric sexuality is fixated by the exchange of psycho-energy and does not assume a spiritual and emotional interaction, it leads to loneliness. 12 Eros can become an aesthetic admiration for one another, which denies sex. But it can also be an artistic flow, which removes sex from mundane ground, raising it to the height of the spirit. 13 In sex two become One, in eros – they are United. 14 Eros – is actions of living beauty, of experiences and words that elevate the instinctive-sexual world of biological life and cycles of inorganic nature. 15 Personality - is a uniqueness of the erotic. In other words, this is a unique interaction of spiritual and soulful origins, which is always genuinely erotic. 16 Unrealized sexuality, which is sublimated in creativity, sooner or later will avenge itself. This revenge is expressed in two ways: in the neurotic tension of the depths of the creator’s mind and the neurotic tension of his works, which will be transmitted to the reader and viewer; the more so the greater the talent of the author. 17 The painfulness of our world fundamentally is generated by creations and actions, which have grown upon the ground of unrealized sexuality. 18 A work of true genius is not born from the transformation of sexual energy, which breaks out of the psyche’s basement into her sitting-rooms, threatening to tear the roof off; it is born out of free realisation of the Eros energy on the ground of sexual satisfaction.
Penetration 2. MALE AND FEMALE SEXUALITY 1 Up to thirty years old for a man sexuality is organic, for a woman erotica is organic; after thirty years old they swap roles. To achieve harmony man must rise above time, the woman - above sex. 2 When a woman says: "Not tonight", this often means: "Yes." When a man says: " Not tonight " it almost always means: "I am suffering." 3 If female sexual desire is like the calm before the storm, male desire - is lightning. 4 Only male desire really releases the woman’s, but without female desire male desire, in general, would not exist. 5 Those who genuinely struggle with lust and passion forget that lust and passion cannot be overcome; they can only be elevated. 6 Sexuality of a man is determined by his physiology, sexuality of a woman – by her erotica. 7 Sexual attraction of a women to a man – is shapely roundness. 8 Penetration into the psychology of a woman excites a true man more, than penetration of the vagina. 9 The erection of intellect is no less important than the erection of the phallus. 10 Entering a woman, many men imagine themselves as God, pulling out – as the Devil. A feeling of guilt arises, hidden so deeply, that it is eluded from awareness. Liberation from this guilt – is liberation from the acceptance of a woman as the forbidden fruit. 11 Sexuality, locked onto itself sweetly deepens the alienation of the sexes. 12 The main difference between male sexuality and female sexuality is that a woman during sex, tries to preserve, and a man - to invade. 13 In Taoist culture sex becomes a condition of longevity. This turns sex into a means of not extending one’s kind, but one’s Ego. Particularly the male. The woman in the Taoist culture plays a supporting role - much less than the role "YIN" in meta-antropological pair "YIN-YANG." As a result, the traditional Taoist longevity becomes an infinite period of man’s senility. 14 The Cult of Old Age replaces of the cult of eternal Youth – this is the inevitable consequence of the humiliation of the feminine origin. 15 When male sexuality demeans a woman, it demeans sexuality. 16 In order to physically become united with a woman, a man should tense his sexual organ, and a woman should relax. But to achieve this, the man should be psychologically relaxed, and the woman should be stretched like a string, emitting sounds, which excite a man. In that way man and woman’s sex becomes possible while changing roles at the level of eros. 17 Genuine sexual arousal means relaxation of a man as soulfulness and tension of a woman like a rush to the spirit.
Penetration 3. ORGASM 1 For many people orgasm is the only way to feel like a microcosm. 2 Orgasm is a flash of unity between two islands of lonelinesses. 3 Orgasm is instant relief from loneliness, but has the ability cosmically to amplify loneliness. 4 Orgasm - is lightning in a night of loneliness. 5 Orgasm which is not reinforced by love, is a joining of bodies and disconnection of persons. 6 Orgasm without love - this is dissolving into animal nature, forcing the personality to sleep. 7 In terms of personality, orgasm without love is always unnatural. 8 Orgasm in the field of love - is an explosion, destroying the wall between body and personality. 9 When a woman cannot experience an orgasm, it almost always means that she does not want to experience it. 10 The number of orgasms does not necessarily mean the same as their quality. 11 The experience of male and female equality allows a pair in love to experience higher sexual union and orgasm with no limits. But this equality should be brought to an equal significance, and this equal significance should be brought to the mutual actualisation of male and female.
Penetration 4. THE MYSTERY OF SADISM AND MASOCHISM 1 The female sexuality always tends towards moderate masochism, and male sexuality towards moderate sadism. But overstepping the measure destroys men's and women's sexuality. 2 Sadism and masochism are relatively safe in sex but absolutely destructive in eros. 3 Even in moderate doses, sadism and masochism in eros deform personality. 4 Out of two players in the game of sadism and masochism one is always serious. 5 Only a personality, where male and female are connected harmoniously, rid themselves of demonic temptations - sadism and masochism. 6 Symbiosis of the sadist and the masochist gives rise to such a profound pleasure of the flesh, that it destroys the personality. 7 Sadism is the shadow of male aggression, masochism – of female submission. Aggression and submission begin to cast shadows, when the ecstasy of aggressiveness and submissiveness begins. 8 Boundless sadism and masochism, which had subordinate sexuality to themselves and went beyond its limit, represent the dead-end branches of evolution of the male and female. 9 Serial sadism becomes masochism, serial masochism becomes sadism. 10 A sadist regards himself as he does an object, implicitly dominating another as an object; in the course of this domination the personality of the sadist increasingly folds up. The ecstasy of this folding is masochistic by nature. 11 The masochist regards himself as he does an object, giving himself up to the will of another. The pain, which arises has no self-value, but is secondary in regard to subordination. 12 Subordinating another in the sphere of physical and psychological pain, the sadist self-inflicts deeply-personal wounds. He becomes a sadist in regard to himself and then a masochist. 13 Subordinating himself to another, the masochist invokes the destruction of his personality, and therefore becomes a sadist. 14 The masochist always bears responsibility for the fact that he gives rise to a sadist. 15 Both sadism and masochism are infantile in their nature. 16 Sadism and masochism grow from the root of self-pity. 17 The sadist engenders self-pity, destroying the freedom of another, the masochist - destroying his own freedom. And then they changes places. 18 Destroying another, the sadist destroys himself, destroying himself, the masochist destroys the other. 19 Both the sadist, and the masochist can direct their energy exclusively onto themselves. Then there arises self-sadism and self-masochism. 20 Self-sadism. – this is a definite tendency to inflict pain on yourself without receiving enjoyment. 21 Self-masochism. – this is a tendency to inflict pain on yourself independently that brings enjoyment. 22 The reasons for self-masochism. are rooted in physiology and psychology; the reason for self-sadism is existential - this is the search for truth, alienated from the good. A classic example of self-sadism was Nietzsche. 23 Unlike the self-masochist., the self-sadist waits for pity in response to his pain. 24 The self-sadist. tries to supplant loneliness by pain. 25 The most terrible maniacs can be men and women, infected by a self-sadist..
Penetration 5. EROS AND THANATOS
1 Eros and Thanatos constantly come together in the personality. The result of this becomes human life. 2 Eros – is the eternal joy of life and Thanatos - the eternal torment of the birth and death transition. 3 Thanatos - is but a mask on the face of Eros. But it is not possible to throw off this mask – when it has fallen, it turns into a labyrinth. 4 Having left the maze of Thanatos, Eros makes its labyrinth by its own shadow. 5 Thanatos – this is the shadow of Eros, which makes it vivid and in greater relief. 6 Thanatos - this is the shadow of Eros, but if Eros is charmed by its shadow, it is filled with the energies of the body and is dissolved in sexuality. And then Thanatos ceases to be in shadow. It turns into a labyrinth, through which blind Eros wanders. 7 The difference between Eros and Thanatos is given to a person in the difference between erotica and sexuality. 8 Life can be an endless battle between Eros and Thanatos, which means torment. It is could also be the servicing of Eros, or Thanatos. A purifying synthesis is needed. 9 The servant of Eros, having forgotten about Thanatos, will permanently experience his underground tremors; he will live in a continous state of earthquake. 10 The servant of Thanatos always experiences a longing for Eros. His personality – is Eros, panting in the mask of Thanatos. Such a person is demonized. 11 The pleasure of sex is only the shadow of pleasure of Eros.
